French School Teacher Educational Paintings "La Pipe", circa 1930s
About the Item
Painted by a school teacher in rural Hautes Pyrenees, France. Based on the Toto, Lili, Rene and Jojo French educational stories. It is likely that the school could not afford the published series, so the teacher took it upon himself to create his own versions. Sometimes a little dark and twisted. We have a large collection of the teacher's work.
Story written on the reverse is visible on the reverse side of the frame.
