Muted Vintage Heriz in Cool Coastal Hues with Earthy DNA About: This piece has been "antique washed" or muted to offer this lighter and softer palette for those that want an authentic hand-knotted rug of quality yet with a calmer and more soothing vibe. We don't bring a lot of this style in but sometimes we do get inquiries for them and I brought 3 pieces in for a client and she went with 2 of them so this one we're offering at a very reasonable price compared to the other dealers who sell this sort of stuff. Again, I want you to know that these dyes aren't original, but have been altered to offer this airy feel while still having a wonderful full pile (vs other "vintage" dealers that bring in the acid washed and shaved down rugs that are Made to look old but are not). You have to know what you're buying people, so make sure to ask a lot of questions! Size: 7.10 x 10.5 Age: Antique, C. 1950's Pile: Medium plush pile throughout most of the piece; this rug has some age-related wear with areas that have been tidied up etc This rug is one-of-a-kind, only one in the world, no others are available. Because of the nature and age of these older/antique handmade pieces, irregularities and age-related wear are likely to exist and are not considered defects. Always recommend a high-quality custom cut pad for any and all rugs; these pads are made for hand-knotted rugs. They create a body and support the knots of the rug, as well as prevent it from slipping and sliding. This rug is also available with a custom cut pad (sold separately).
