Very abstract and unique Art Deco root wood carving made from suar wood by the renowned Balinese artist Ida Bagus Tilem (1936–1993) from Mas.
His father, Ida Bagus Nyana, is considered the inventor of this distinctive style.
Ida Bagus Tilem learned the craft from his father and, with exhibitions around the world, became perhaps the most famous master woodcarver globally.
