Large Deer Head Shooting Lodge Sign Black Forest Folk Art Wooden Trophy 1893

About the Item

A great looking hand carved original wooden Folk Art wall decoration and shooting lodge plaque. A great piece for a suitable ambiance in a trophy room or the office of a Hunter or Woodsman. More than likely one of the Folk Art items made in the 19th Century. In remarkably good as found condition with only a few small paint lost on the trophy plaque and a view missing wood on the head (because it was used as shooting lodge sign). It has the original Deer Antlers, these can be removed for transportation. Found at an estate sale in Vienna, Austria. We think this will be a nice addition to your Collection of Black Forest items and - or as decoration in your Log cabin, Hunters lodge or Farm House.
