A lovely example of the 1960's sculpture by celebrated artist Cleo Hartwig. This is her iconic peace dove that was reproduced by Sculptor Collectors.
This piece was signed "in mold". It is presented on a black base. Cleo Hartwig (1907 – 1988) was an American sculptor who worked in stone, wood, terra cotta, plaster, paper, woodcut, and ceramic.
She won a number of awards, including national awards, and her work is exhibited across the northeast U.S. She is regarded as a member of The New York School.
