A fine signed folk art bird sculpture.
By Rudolph Condon.
In carved wood and wrought iron.
In the form of a bird atop a circular plinth. A near identical sculpture of Condon's was photographed by Fritz Goro for LIFE Magazine ca. 1956.
Condon was regularly active in both Maine & Pennsylvania throughout his artistic career.
Marked to the side and underside of the bird.
Simply a wonderful American folk art bird sculpture!
