About the Item

This sign advertises Johnson Gasoline (stylistically spelled erroneously) sold with Ethyl anti-knock compound. Johnson was known for not only this brand but others under their banner including Brilliant Bronze and Jo-Re-Co. Johnson was known for their "Time Tells" tagline as a reference to the claim that cars lasted longer between oil changes when using Johnson. Whether or not that's true has been lost to time since Johnson was bought out by Standard Oil in 1956. 47.5" dia Please refer to photos regarding condition.
