The double sided cast iron shop sign with remains of original paint and gilt bezel with winder.
Inscribed to the domed and zinc dials "R H Peters Watches Clocks Jewelry".
Provenance: Sold in Christies (Lot 135) “Oak Country furniture, folk art and works of Art sale “July 2002".

- Condition:Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. In lovely condition, with a fantastic well worn appearance. Both the zinc metal clock faces are worn consistent with its age and use, including dents, scratches, the paint worn through and evidence of old retouching in places.
