Early hardwood Mexican mask, representing a man with moustache and beard with curly hair on forehead. Strong, sharp carving with high relief detaisl. Heavy staining and wear inside from traditional use, faint traces of pigments. Early to mid-20th century. The mask is 8 inches high, on metal and wood stand, total height is 12 7/8 inches.
