Tall slender seated wood figure with long slender legs clasped at chest, holding fruit by feet. Carribean Islands or French Polynesia, Mid 20th century It is in good condition with a darkened patina and wear from traditional use and handling, front of toes absent, appropriate for its age, use, and medium. Scuffs and nicks here and there. Carved mark on bottom with possibly the artist's name: G. Fils. Very sweet downturned carved face. mid 20th century,
