Early 20th century Folk Art whirligig figure We are proud to offer a true example of an early 20th century whirligig figure. Hand carved from scratch with some lovely naïve detail. A working example with lots of natural age still displaying its original paint. A pure example of English folk-art simplicity in the form of a soldier. Size in inches: H 10” x W 2.6” x D 1.3” Origin: English Period: Early 20th century Material: Pine Condition: Completely solid in structure and form. Wear and tear present through fading across the painted surface and a natural patina across the exposed wood. A working example without breaks or loss. Its exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas in this piece therefore we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections are unclear to avoid disappointment.
