About the Item

These larger 2 piece consolidated glass fixtures are rarely seen anymore, especially in this great condition. The bottom piece of glass is held in place by gently setting it up into the top piece and turning it slightly to rest on the top piece. The 3 glass "fingers" on the bottom which grip the top piece are all in excellent condition. No cracks or noticeable chips. The beauty of the Art Deco inspired floral design draping down the panels is wonderful, unmistakably Consolidated. This green color seems to be one of the rarer colors, probably because it goes so well with the styles of it's day, Craftsman, Art Deco, Revival, Bungalow or Arts & Crafts. The top piece shows more yellow due to the color temperature of the bulb. It is the green color shown with the bulb off. Shown on a patinated brass fitter from the same era. Can also be chain or pole hung if a longer drop is required (charged at our cost only).
