A vintage Italian nine-light crystal and wood chandelier. This Italian chandelier from the mid to late 20th century features a tall gilt, painted and beautifully carved wood central column, with a three-tiered crystal and Italian glass bead waterfall top. Nine swoop arms, with gilded armature and lined in Italian glass beads, stem outward from the lower portion of the central column, decorated with various crystals. Each arm terminates into a small wooden bobèche, rising up from carved wrapped acanthus leaf cups, housing the painted candle sleeves at their tops. This magnificent Italian crystal chandelier has been rewired for the US and comes with a complimentary three-foot chain and canopy painted to match.
