An Exquisite Italian Mid-century Basket-Shaped Crystal and Brass Chandelier
About the Item
An elegant Italian mid-20th century six-light crystal basket chandelier. This vintage chandelier from Italy features a basket design shape decorated in strands of crystals, draped throughout the body. The upper brass corona with anthemia projects about it's top, displays a gentle waterfall of crystal spears dropping about the perimeter. The central gallery ring, of matching brass armature, is decorative pierced with crystals set within the banding, it's upper rim mimics with anthemia of the crown, each leafy design supporting the six brass bobeches and painted candle sleeves. The basket is adorn in an exquisite display of crystals strands, gathering together at the bottom acorn finial. This Italian crystal chandelier from the mid-20th century has been rewired for the US and comes with a complimentary 3-foot chain and canopy painted to match.
