About the Item

This chandelier created in green etched (Acidato) blown Murano glass is part of a collection of glass elements created by the Seguso glass company and coming from a Hotel in Piedmont. Delicate lines inspired by a bell-shaped floral element enhance the elegance of a piece enriched by the etched glass technique. Flavio Poli was one of the greatest masters for glassmaking in Murano between the 1930s and 1960s. Murano glass works are rare and delicate objects: it is almost impossible to make them identical years apart. This makes it extremely interesting when one finds two or more chandeliers created for the same purpose and thus having a homogeneity of workmanship that is difficult to replicate.
