About the Item

French Montgolfier gilt bronze and frosted etched glass balloon hanging hall chandelier with centered woven floral and ribbon basket, cascading netting, four exterior bamboo scrolled candle arms and terminating with a centered lower gilt brass ball. Mid-19th century. Chandelier has been electrified on the interior of balloon and four arms are candle powered.
