Hans-Agne Jakobsson '1003 Hans Pendant' in pine for Vaarnii.
First created by legendary designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson, the '1003 Hans Pendant' is a uniquely architectural lamp with an enduring appeal one can expect from the iconic Jakobsson. When illuminated the thin wood casts a distinctly warm and organic light that reveals the wood's natural grain while casting a beautiful glow. Handcrafted in solid Finish pine and veneer with a hardwax oil finish to the exacting standards of Vaarnii.
Vaarnii’s sculptural and organic designs combine Finnish modernist refinement with a traditional emphasis on craftsmanship. Their sustainably sourced pine wood furniture and lighting is made to order by local craftspeople and small-scale fabricators in Finland.
Please note that due to the organic nature of pine wood some variation in color and grain may occur from piece to piece, resulting in each Hans Pendant being a unique piece.

This lamp is suspended and powered by a single black cloth cord from a ø4.25" canopy with a maximum drop of 98 inches. Not UL Listed but UL Listing possible through an authorized third party vendor for an additional fee. Please inquire.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
