1960ies Laquered red-orange Pendant Lamp designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson.
Manufactured in Sweden by AB Markaryd, with makers bedge on inner side of the shield.
Rare pendant lamp designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson in brass and laquered metal, with acrylic plastic diffuser inside the shield.
Tulip lamp shield in beautiful red-orange laquer, with brass mount. Shield diameter is 45 cm, height 22 cm. Distance to ceiling can easily be adapted.
The lamp has a E27 socket for one standard bulb with up to 75 Watts.
The lamp is in very good vintage condition appropriate to its age, with few signs of use. The electric cord has been renewed.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
