Large Original French nickel bronze etched glass chandelier Hettier Vincent
About the Item
This original and elegant Modernist chandelier by Hettier Vincent and Verreries Hanots features a polished nickeled bronzed frame with six branch arms, each supporting six exquisitely textured acid etched art glass cup-shaped shades.
The satellite cups gracefully surround and frame the large matching frosted and polished etched glass coupe with central inset, that also showcases geometric, wave like and dotted patterns. Like the sand on the beach, or the planets orbiting the sun, the motif on the glass as well as the overall shape of the fixture elicits a feeling of nature and it's simplicity.
With a strikingly architectural design that brings to mind a sense of Modern appeal, this chandelier is suspended by six tubular bars and it is crowned by its original geometric stepped canopy.
Each arm that holds its respective glass component extends outward and creates a captivating wheel or star shape when viewed from below.

In good condition w/ miniscule imperfections, superficial, flea bite edges, mold marks that are not even noticeable. The frame in original finish w/ possible mottling or imperfections, again not at all apparent. Wear consistent with age and use.
