Marvelous Large Six-Armed Alabaster Art Nouveau Chandelier, France 1920s
About the Item
This one-of-a-kind, large alabaster chandelier was found in a 1920s villa and is absolutely stunning. The craftsmanship of this large chandelier is particularly beautiful; the fine walnut wood combined with the beautifully marbled, hand-polished alabaster lamp shades creates a stunning combination, and the gold-plated metal parts create a luxurious atmosphere. The alabaster shades are in very good condition, and the metal has a beautiful patina. The fabric wrapping and silk fringes have a story to tell, showing signs of age that give this chandelier a unique charm. Since the center section is made of walnut wood, there's a little gap in the upper, invisible part. This is just a part of the process, and there's no need to worry. The chandelier can be separated at this point for disassembly.
