Murano Art Glass and Brass Sand Blasted Color Chandelier and Pendant, 2020
About the Item
Special and very original lantern in brass and Murano glass, unique design enriched by a particular glass with sandblasted workmanship.
The chandelier/lantern has a round brass structure to which long and curved Murano glass leaves have been attached. There are about sixteen sandblasted leaves hanging all around the structure, positioned eight above and eight below upside down. The structure is not cylindrical but in the shape of a large egg, in fact as you can see from the photos, the central part has a larger diameter than the lower part. The leaves are perforated and allow the brass screws to attach to the metal structure. The lantern is hung from the ceiling via a rod and a brass rosette. In the lower part there is a small brass plate that is fixed to the structure to close the chandelier. Inside there are 6 light bulbs.
