About the Item

Presenting an undeniably elegant and exceptional work of artistry, a Murano glass lamp by the renowned Italian designer Carlo Nason. This lamp stands as a truly rare find, acknowledged by connoisseurs as an iconic design that eloquently showcases the mastery and craftsmanship of Murano glassmakers. Born in 1935 in Murano, Venice, Carlo Nason comes from a lineage of expert glassmakers. His father, Vincenzo Nason, founded the esteemed glass business NasonMoretti and later established another glass enterprise named Vincenzo Nason & C in 1941. From a tender age, Carlo Nason underwent comprehensive training in the art of glassblowing, acquiring an intimate understanding of the distinct properties of glass and the intricate techniques involved in molding and embellishing it. Three of the glasses have been meticulously crafted using the "Pulegoso" technique, a method frequently employed in the 1920s. During the glassmaking process, gasoline is skillfully introduced into the molten glass, causing it to fervently boil and generate a multitude of minuscule air bubbles in irregular shapes. This intentional inclusion of unconventional bubbles artfully obscures the transparency of the glass, culminating in an enchanting visual effect. This vintage lamp is presented in excellent condition, allowing the impeccable quality of the glass to shine. The wiring has been expertly designed to accommodate usage across all countries worldwide. With a maximum height, cable included, of 150 cm, this lamp commands a truly impressive presence wherever it graces. Don't allow this extraordinary opportunity to slip through your grasp; seize the chance to own this exceptional piece of Murano glass art, a creation meticulously brought to life by none other than Carlo Nason himself. This lamp is destined to be a captivating addition to any collection, effortlessly asserting itself as a striking focal point within your home or office decor.
