Murano MidCentury Glass and Brass Chandelier and Pendant, 2020
About the Item
Elegant and rich in design, this chandelier is reminiscent of the old style of Murano, when shapes and external appearance were the most important things.
The chandelier is round in shape and is composed of nine brass arms that start centrally from a central canopy; the arms are surmounted by two Murano glasses, a larger one in gold and a smaller one in brick red. The two glasses are both concave and are positioned opposite each other, so as to be able to contain the bulb. Smooth processing for the small brick-red glass, while for the larger gold-colored glass the processing is of the "beaten" type and a gold leaf has been applied on the outside, thus making it lighter than the outside. The chandelier is hung from the ceiling by means of a brass tube that starts in the center of the chandelier, ending with another canopy.
