About the Item
Fantastic French early 1950's chandelier produced by ARLUS, design attributed to Mathieu Mategot, Four full size Mategot lanterns suspended by brass tube and connected via a central ring of dark green enameled brass. Each lantern is topped by perforated metal 'hats' whose cream enamel color we can change (if requested). See detail photo 10 for original design magazine ad for Arlus showing this chandelier.
NOTE: See BG separate listing for the same chandelier but slightly smaller with three torches instead of four. We also have several of the wall lights and hanging single lanterns.
