Vintage Mid-20th Century French Iron and Brass Ring Chandelier with 6 Torches
About the Item
This elegant chandelier was made in France in the 1960s. It features a black patinated steel ring supporting 6 brass torches. The torches end with beautiful yellow twisted glass covers. This one-of-a-kind chandelier was made by a true craftsman and the level of detail is fantastic. All six arms supporting the torches were made in patinated steel and were decorated with turned brass elements.
The chandelier was made for electric lighting and the wiring was beautifully hidden inside the frame. All fixtures are modern E14 sockets and the wiring is in very good condition. It is ready for use both for European electricity as well as US electricity.
The chandelier shows beautiful patina throughout in the form of slight oxidation of both steel and brass. It adds character to the piece and the yellow glass covers spread a beautiful warm light.
This unique and elegant chandelier is clean, working, and ready for use.
