Mid-20th Century French Iron Triangular Chandelier
About the Item
A French four-light iron chandelier from the mid-20th century. This vintage hanging light-fixture from France has an overall rectangular-shaped center (when viewed from beneath), each side adorn with a pair of iron bars that project outward, joining together with nicely scrolled tips and a twisted post projecting outward at center. Each tip of the triangular gallery supports a cupped metal bobèches and painted candle covers at their center. The main gallery section is joined to the top by six ridged and twisted bars, separated with a decorative bulb between the lower and upper chain, and finally joining the top via three of hooks. The iron has a lovely aged/rusty patina throughout. This French midcentury chandelier has been rewired for the US and comes with a complimentary 3-foot chain and canopy painted to match.
