20th Century Antique French Wrought Iron Chandelier with Leafs and Flowers
About the Item
This beautiful hand-forged chandelier has a hexagonal body. Each side has a bow ribbon on top, a highly detailed flower garland in the middle and a beautiful draped curtain below. The chandelier has six arms cladded with acanthus leaves and ending in lights. It has also one light in the middle. The chandelier is supported by twisted flat bars decorated with flowers flanked by leafs and an ornate crown at the very top. The design and execution of this wrought iron pendant is simply wonderful. It is made with the highest degree of craftsmanship and every piece is highly detailed. It has the original finish and patina. The chandelier is from the early 1900s and originates in France.
Originally designed for candles, this chandelier has been restored in our workshop.
All joints were revised whenever necessary. Also all wiring and all fittings have been renewed.
