About the Item

A stunning and extremely elegant Russian 19th century Neo-Classical st. ormolu, crystal, glass, and mirror chandelier. The eight arm chandelier displays a striking circular wrap around row of lovely prism shaped crystal pendants also repeated at the center framing a unique and most decorative bottom mirrored reserve. Each elegantly curved arm branches out from a fine ormolu band with richly chased wrap around palmettes and foliate designs leading to circular bobeches with an additional prism shaped cut crystal pendants. At the center are exquisite palmette sprays with beaded glass accents decorated with graceful hanging reserves repeated at the spectacular top crown. All original gilt throughout. * Shades are shown for display purposes only.
