About the Item

A magnificent Russian 19th century Neo-Classical st. cobalt blue glass, crystal, and ormolu twelve light chandelier. The chandelier is centered by a fine bottom circular pendant with elegant prism-shaped cut crystals. At the center is the striking hand-blown cobalt blue glass urn with beautiful and extremely unique sprays. Above are unique circular ormolu pendants accented with prism-cut crystals and fine-cut garlands. The central band displays outstanding ormolu palmettes with crystal baguettes. Decorative smaller pendants and elegantly scrolled arms have a twisted ormolu design and foliate candle cups. Three superb crystal and ormolu chains join to the top tier with additional striking pendants. All below the stunning top crown is centered by a hand-blown cobalt blue glass sphere with ormolu acanthus leaf design base and a stunning array of ormolu and crystal sprays.
