White Alabaster and Bronze Pendant Light, France, ca 1930
About the Item
Art Deco white alabaster pendant light with slight dark brown veins.
This adorable alabaster pendant ceiling light fixture dates from circa the 1930s. It features a beautifully shaped slightly veined white alabaster bowl suspended by three decorative bronze chains and an ornate bronze canopy.
The light shining through the white stone is atmospheric, emanating a beautiful ambiance when lit and unlit.
One new socket for E27 (E26) size light bulb.
Dimensions: height: circa 40 cm / 15.7 in; diameter: 35 cm / 13.7 in.
The pendant chandelier is in good condition with slight signs of use and some typical signs of aging of alabaster.
The light fixture is in complete working order, but as with all vintage or antique lighting, we recommend that a qualified electrician install it.
