About the Item
Highly adjustable lamp, a couple thumbscrews, articulate joint, a flathead screw, etc. to set lamp in any position. In the first image lamp is set at roughly 6.5 Feet by 3.5 Feet wide, and base is 27 inches deep.
Designed and patented by William H. Woodward, the "Utilight" floor lamps were some of the finest and most reliable machinist's lights made in the 1930s. Featuring a cast aluminum shade, Cast Iron Armature, and Articulate Joint, which allows the light to bend and swivel in many directions. Mounted upon a very heavy Deco-inspired cast iron tripod stand, complete with castors, which can be removed to set directly on the floor.
