Japan mid-century Floor lamp ghost (Fantasma) by Kuramata for Yamagiwa, 1972. Floor lamp ghost (Fantasma) in plexiglass. The white acrylic glass shade has the shape of a floating cloth, which rests on the ground. The single leg base is in white painted metal. The structure of the lampshade is therefore self-supporting and seems to float like a ghost. Produced by Yamagiwa in 1970s and designed by Shiro Kuramata in 1972. The lamp belongs to the Oba-Q K Series. Labels present on lampshade and base. Good conditions, with flaws. Measurements in cm 99 x 85 H.
