About the Item
Rare standing lamp from Swisslamps according to a design by Edi Franz from the 1950s.
This draft is ahead of its time. The reduced design language is already reminiscent of the 60s, and it was created in the mid -1950s. This floor lamp draws its elegance from precision and technical details. In contrast, the yellow coloring of this version is in contrast. The simple execution of the light head is particularly eye -catching. A long cylinder at the front end of which a simple blendring is assembled as an umbrella. The blendring is connected to the shaft of the spotlight with three fine chrome braces. The two spotlights are kept over a sprung clamping mechanism and can be freely adjusted in height. This mechanism is not only functionally a special detail, but also optically. The sprung push button is carried out in clear acrylic glass and stands out as a detail. The switches are at the back of each spotlight. A black pressure switch that ends with the cylinder of the beam. European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
