About the Item

Original TMM floor lamp. Design by Miguel MILA for Santa & Cole. A cross-shaped base supports a square wooden shaft that becomes a circle in the middle. The shade can be moved up or down it, held at the required height by a simple rubber ring. In a flourish of formal serenity and functional efficacy, Miguel Milá cleverly separated the three basic components of any lamp: the structure, the electrical parts and the shade. The light source rotates around the shaft and can be raised or lowered like a flag on a mast. This floor lamp was purchased in the early 90s. The original lampshade is signed Miguel Mila, it is slightly stained and worn (see photos). The floor lamp is in good condition, traces of use are present.
