A vintage pair of Serge Roche palm tree torchiere lamps in plaster are highly sought after by collectors and interior design enthusiasts.
These lamps were produced in the 1930’s and feature a unique and intricate design resembling lavish palm trees.
These are the rare and unusual flush wall mounted torchieres.
The lamps are made of plaster and have a vintage white lacquer finish (they have had minor touch ups and do display some cracking and areas of uneven paint).
They are known for their detailed craftsmanship and attention to detail, with the palm fronds and trunk intricately sculpted to resemble real palm trees. The lamps stand on a sturdy base and have a torchiere-style light fixture at the top, providing a soft and ambient glow when illuminated.

Likely Russian in original, possibly outdoor light posts from an important building. Extremely heavy gilt bronze bases with Neoclassical scroll work accented by fine wrought iron feathers. The center stem (which hides the electrical work) is surrounded by 4 finely cast bronze rods with additional central twists for detail. Studded iron work gives further support and detailing.
