A Very Rare Pair of 19th Century Plant Stands / Torcheres Converted to Lamps

About the Item

A very rare pair of 19th Century richly patinated mahogany plant stands or torcheres converted to standard lamps, finely hand carved and of exceptional quality. The well figured, moulded top of circular form with gallery rim is raised over a stunning slender ring turned pedestal column with gorgeous fluted detail, supported on trefoil base with three elegant, tapering sabre legs, terminating on finely cast brass lion paw toe caps.
