Unique MidCentury Modern Artistic Glass Art Flush Mount with Brass Ring, 1950s
About the Item
This large and pure Mid-Century Modern, three lights fixture is another one of our recent great finds.
This unique light fixture from the mid twentieth century era has a beautiful look and feel and you will hardly ever find a more 'fresh looking' glass shade than this. Combined with the unique, layered pattern in the glass and the even larger brass ring with the folded brass leafs this aesthetically pleasing pendant is an absolute joy to look at. Both on and off this flush mount is like a work of art on your ceiling, but with the light switched on this fixture creates a warm light that really transforms the atmosphere of the living space it is in, making it even more stylish and pleasant to be in. Thanks to the mattened glass shade and unlike most midcentury glass flush mounts, this unique specimen does not at all reflect any of the surrounding colors or sources of light in this shade. The brass ring on top of the glass shade is like the icing on the cake of this one of a kind light. The original canopy atop too is much bigger than normal and it will easily cover any junction box. For us to have found this rare pendant in such good vintage condition again felt like a blessing. Mind you, the paint that is on the upper edge of the large brass canopy will be professionally removed prior to shipping. A stylish mid-century pendant like this will look great in any room and it will complement the rest of your mid-century interior in a way that will make your whole interior look more complete and desirable.
