Rare copper and frozen glass flush mount with built-in 'portholes'.
If you are looking for a unique light from the Mid-Century Modern era then this work of (lighting) art could be the one for you. This unique design is unlike anything we ever saw and you could not wish for this striking light to be in a better condition. The more difficult the design, the more difficult and costly it will be to create a fixture and this must have been among the most expensive pendants of the era. Cutting circular holes in the large glass shade and perfectly inserting pothole-like windows with brass frames and special glass must have been a painstaking process. However, the result is extraordinary and this fixture is an absolute joy to own and look at. It is much better to see in real life, but there also is depth in the decorative pattern in the large glass shade itself. Both with the light switched on and off, this amazing light fixture really has a presence of its own. The light it radiates will help create the ideal atmosphere in a lounge room, a living room or any other room that can do with a style upgrade.
