About the Item
A fine brass and glass chandelier with French Regency styling, lavishly designed with foliate relief flourishes and torch-like finials on arched supports over an openwork chain motif border heralding a cylindrical glass shade with etched decoration enclosing four sockets within. The glass is supported by vertical brass bands leading down to curved rails terminating around an acorn finial at the bottom. With ceiling cap and length of chain.
Dimensions: 38” high by 20” diameter.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Presents well overall. Minor oxidation, mainly with a darker patina to the circular ceiling mount which does not affect the fine presentation.
