About the Item
French Louis XVI style gilt bronze bouilotte lamp with two adjustable lights having pull chain operation. The lamp with three scrolling arms with bobeche and removable wax cups emitting from a turned standard. The lamp with an embossed basket base surmounted on a wood plinth and covered with a white paint decorated tole shade and a spire form finial.
Dimensions: 12 1/2" W x 29" H, shade - 12 1/2" W x 5" H
Condition: Various signs of age including slight wear to the shade paint, wear and scratches to brass, tarnish, all three arms slightly bent with the lamp retaining an authentic French style presentation. Please see photos for details of condition.
