Azo comes from the intention of creating a sconce with vertical lighting.
Its shape is the result of a longitudinal cut in a cylinder with rounded ends,
with the length reduced on one side to shelter the light source.
The lighting, in turn, is reflected by the concave space, generating a delicate luminous
gradient, contained in the piece itself.
The piece is produced in cast aluminum and has its internal and external
parts differentiated by the painted or polished finish.
The color distinctionhighlights the shape of Azo, which alludes to an illuminated architectural
dome.

RAIN is composed of Ricardo Innecco and MarianaRamos, respectively an architect and a product designer. They were both born in Brasília and established in São Paulo (Brazil), where they started to work in collaboration.
