Large impressive 'crown' wall lamp by Hans Agne Jakobsson, model V222.
Brass wall sconce with amber glass shade equipped with a crown ornament - which is almost always missing. The lamp can also be installed without this crown ornament as shown on pictures.
Lamp provides a wonderful indirect light with a beautiful shadow effect on the wall. A truly unique and impressive piece to make a room.
This lamp can be installed both plug-in and hard wired.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Small age related spots of corrosion to be found. See pictures. This can be polished and certainly will be reduced by polishing with a brass polish. We believe these signs of wear are part of age and therefore prefer to leave it to the buyer.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
