Pair of Brass & Frozen Glass Sconces From Louis XVI Style late 19th Century
About the Item
French pair of wall sconces massive brass & frozen tulip glass.
These torch-shaped sconces will give your home a classic look. They consist of a ring into which a torch would have been slipped. The shape of the tulips (glasses) also imitates a flame. The classic style of the Louis XVI period is evident in the fluting, stylized ribbons and imitation shell to which the ring is attached.
Very stylish
Made in the late 19th century.
