About the Item

A most impressive and monumentally scaled set of four Italian early 19th century Rococo st. giltwood and gilt metal sconces. Each ten arm sconce is centered by a beautiful scrolled foliate back plate from where the single scrolled arm branches out. The ten elegant arms of each sconce branch out in a most decorative and whimsical manner adorned with finely carved acanthus leaves and ending in lovely foliate and floral candle cups. * Shades are shown for display purposes only.
