About the Item
Antique French sculptural centerpiece crafted from onyx stone is mounted with pierced bronze base and peacocks from the Japonisme period, attributed to G. Viot et Cie of Paris, after the design by Eugene Cornu (1827-1899). 27 x 10 x 9 inches. Previously mounted with lamp hardware in the early 20th century, now removed and replaced with a tasteful finial.
