The One of One Collection is an ongoing series of single-edition floor and table lamps featuring shades made from particularly rare vintage paper parasols from our archive. Rest assured, you will never see another one like it. Model No. 035 is a single-edition table lamp featuring a pale yellow rice-paper shade constructed from a vintage children's parasol with black lacquer accents, handmade in Japan, circa 1950. It sits atop a lacquered natural yellow bamboo column and terra cotta-tinted cast hydrocal-plaster base. Brass fittings, wrapped leather accents, and a chocolate-brown cloth-covered cord with vintage-style plug and inline Euro-style on/off switch complete the modernist profile.
