About the Item
Table lamp model DL45 produced by Palshus (Denmark).
The lamp base is finished with a beige-grey glaze with the bottom in natural chamotte finish. The chamotte clay gives a natural and living surface. It is signed under the base (PLS for Per Linnemann-Schmidt).
Palshus has been founded by Per and his wife Annelise Linnemann-Schmidt. The couple created and produced chamotte (danish clay) objects with impressed decorations (tableware, vases, and lamps). Their design is timeless, these lamps have a contemporary and graphic side despite being over 50 years old. Colors were characteristic Scandinavian earthy tones: blues, browns, greens and beige.
Many other talented ceramic artists also worked for Palshus including Jens H. Quistgaard and Esben Klint.
It comes with a new lampshade. The lamp has been re-electrified.
It works on 110V and 220V. E26/E27 socket. The EU plug can be replaced by an US version free of charge.

The lamp comes with its original lampshade holder. The lampshade and the small vase are for display purposes only and are not part of the offer.
Inside the shade there is a metal ring that can be placed on the lampshade holder. On top of our shade is a loose cover made of the same material.
The height of the chamotte (texture clay) base of the lamp is 29 cm / 11,5 inch (excl. fitting and excl. lampshade holder). The lampshade holder is adjustable in height. The height of the lamp as shown on the first photo is 52 cm / 20,5 inch.
