Bradley & Hubbard Kerosine Lamp with Hand Painted Hurricane Glass, Electrified
About the Item
Antique Bradley & Hubbard oil kerosene lamp from 1885-1894, Model "Perfection", B&H engraved on the base. The lamp is of old brass and very ornate cast iron old-gold-gilded and beautiful detailing. Original hand painted hurricane glass tulip shade with very elegant floral motifs on both sides.
This lamp has been electrified without damaging the original oil function or any original components so that the oil/kerosene function is in full iwork condition by removing the electrical cord twith the bulb holder.
It takes one Edison E-27 large bulb up to 60Watt. A push switch has been added to the cord to turn the light on and off.
The lamp has been cleaned and hand polished without removing the patina of age.
