About the Item
A Kerosene / table oil lamp model L 178/V 382. Designed during the late 1950s by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for his own company Markaryd AB in Sweden. This is a rare version featuring cased opaline glass. These were initially made for a nautical/maritime themed Hotel in Göteborg. Measurements: H: 25 cm, D: 16 cm. Please note there is no chimney in the photos. But we will obviously include it. We just forgot to install it when we took the images.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
