Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte Withe Art Glass Italian Table Lamp, 1970

About the Item

Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte glass table lamp. The designer hit the mark when he designed this lamp. Created in 1954 by the designer Max Ingrand, the Fontana Arte table lamp features Minimalist styling with six illumination from both the base and shade. Still with original wiring. Formed by a base with a large glass bulb, surmounted by a large hat. All of rigorous white glass. Designed in 1954 by the famous designer Max Ingrand, this lamp was originally called 1853, and later, "Fontana". A timeless design object, still a best seller today and a timeless design icon, "Fontana" is the lamp par excellence. The peculiarity of the lamp is its multiple light sources: both the base and the lampshade have one. The differentiated light sources allow for different lighting needs: from a soft and relaxing light, to a strong light for reading, up to a suggestive ambient light. A fabulous lamp in satin white blown glass. As the Designer often said: "Light was no longer just a means of giving life to color but became a means of giving life to an entire architecture." Price including packaging and wooden case.
